mindfulness facilitation
Simply put, mindfulness is awareness. It is being aware of what is happening, while it is happening, and not reacting to it. When we bring this level of non-judgmental presence to our experiences and relationships, we can slow it all down to deepen our understanding and find where we have choice.
In addition to improving stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and chronic pain, a mindfulness practice has shown to increase patience, self-compassion, acceptance, and trust.
I teach both formal mindfulness practices and everyday mindfulness techniques to individuals and groups, including: mindful meditation, mindful movement, body scan and mindful communication.
workshops and retreats
Connection, empathy, inspiration, shared commitment, accountability, and fun are just some of the benefits of a group personal growth experience.
Workshops and retreats may take place indoors and outdoors and are designed to meet individual groups’ interests and needs.
Activities may include: hiking, yoga, meditation, visualization, journaling, creative expression, and group sharing ... practicing tools we can take with us and incorporate into our daily lives.
